Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 is a 1994 platformer developed by Nintendo for the Game Boy. As the first title in the Wario Land series, it shifts focus from Mario to his rival, Wario, who seeks to amass enough wealth to buy his own castle. 

Core Gameplay Features

• Shoulder Bash & Lifting: Unlike Mario, Wario primarily attacks by performing a Body Slam (shoulder charge) to stun or defeat enemies. He can also pick up and throw stunned enemies.
• Power-up Helmets: Wario uses special pots to gain unique abilities:
• Bull Wario: Grants increased strength, a ground pound that creates shockwaves, and the ability to stick to ceilings.
• Jet Wario: Allows Wario to glide through the air and increases his movement speed and jump height.
• Dragon Wario: Features a helmet that spews fire (or shoots projectiles underwater).
• Variable Endings: The game features multiple endings based on the total number of coins and treasures Wario collects. Outcomes range from a tiny birdhouse to an entire planet with Wario's face on it.
• World Structure: The adventure takes place across seven themed worlds on Kitchen Island, including beaches, jungles, and a pirate castle. 

Plot & Antagonist

Following his defeat in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Wario travels to Kitchen Island to steal a giant golden statue of Princess Peach from the Brown Sugar Pirates. He faces their leader, Captain Syrup, and her magical genie at the summit of Syrup Castle.
