Released in 2003, Crash Nitro Kart (CNK) for the Game Boy Advance is a handheld kart racer developed by Vicarious Visions. It is a re-imagining of the home console version, built specifically for the GBA using a Mode 7 engine to simulate 3D environments on flat tracks. 

Story and Setting

The plot follows Crash Bandicoot and his rivals after they are abducted by the galactic dictator Emperor Velo XXVII. Forced to compete in the "Galactic Circuit," the teams must win to prevent the Earth's destruction. Players race across four themed worlds—Terra, Barin, Fenomena, and Teknee—before a final showdown with Velo himself.
